Tia and Tamera turn 34!

My favorite celebrity twins Tia and Tamera Mowry turned 34 today July 6. I adored them from childhood until now. They reminded me of my twin sister and I growing up. Season 2 of their reality show is on Style Network Mondays at 8/7c. This season Tamera is pregnant with her first child (a boy) and Tia is a  new mom to her son Cree. These two never fail to make me laugh so Happy Birthday to them!

Happy Birthday to ME! I'm 22 years old today. I can't wait to have my cake and eat it too because thats what you do on your Birthday. Go Meshia, Go Meshia, it's ya birthday, it's ya birthday. Oh yea it's my twin sisters birthday today too. I almost forgot, Sorry. Happy Birthday!



Madea is Back Again?!

Madea is back once again and will be in theaters June 29. Now it's no secret that I am a fan of Tyler Perry. I purchased all of his productions when they come to dvd BUT like many the Madea craze is fading for me and has been for a while. Now while I'm all for supporting the black actors/actresses that Tyler has given a boost I'm starting to agree with some of Tyler's critics that say he needs new material and stop using Madea as a pawn. Although I probably will go see this film in theaters I dont know how many more Madea movies I can take. Enough is enough. The film stars Tyler Perry, Eugene Levy, Romeo, Marla Gibbs, and John Amos.

Bobbi Kristina to star in Tyler Perry Sitcom

Bobbi Kristina Brown is apparently set to star in Tyler Perry's sitcom For Better or Worse which has been picked up for a second season.The 19 year old is set to play the daughter of one of the stylist in Angela's salon. Finally some good news for Ms. Brown in light of her recent loss. Hopefully she will find her path in life and live a healthy life with a successful career. Let hope for the best.

MUST SEE: Spring 2012 Movie Releases

My all-time favorite movie Titanic will premiere in 3D worldwide on April 4 and I cannot wait to see it on the big screen. Woman thou Art Loosed: On the Seventh Day starring Blair Underwood, Sharon Leal, and Pam Grier will premiere April 13. Finally, Think Like a Man starring Taraji P. Kim Kardashian To Star in Tyler Perry Film?!

Kim Kardashian has landed a role in the new Tyler Perry film "The Marriage Counselor," which is based on the play of the same name. Jurnee Smollett is set to play as the marriage counselor and Kim will play her friend and co-worker Ava. Kim Tweeted: "Big news!! I'm co-starring in Tyler Perry's new movie! It's gonna be such a fun experience!"

Tyler Perry News

Tyler Perry is doing big things. MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY (the movie) , LAUGH TO KEEP FROM CRYING (the play), and MEET THE BROWNS (season 1) all came to DVD August 30, 2011. If you don't know already I am a huge fan of Tyler Perry and have made it my mission to collect all of his productions so I will be running out to buy all of these new releases. Also, Mr. Perry has a brand new show coming to TBS on November 23 called FOR BETTER OR WORSE starring Tasha Smith (Angela) and Michael Jai White (Marcus) from Why Did I Get Married (1-2)? It's my Birthday! It's my Birthday! I'm officially 21 and of course my twin sister turns 21 today also, coincidenatally, it's my father's birthday too! Yes, we where born on my father's birthday, What a Gift, huh? I'm feeling so OLD right now but I thank GOD to see this day. HE has truly blessed me throughout these 21 long years.



Waiting to Exhale SEQUEL!!

 Recently on CBS "The Talk" Angela Bassett announced she has signed on to reteam with Whitney Houston, Loretta Devine and Lela Rochon for a sequel to “Waiting to Exhale.” How awesome is that?! Waiting to Exhale is one of my favorite films even though I was too young to watch it when it first came out I have fell in love with it. The sequel will be based on Terry McMillan's 2010 follow-up novel titled "Getting to Happy". Forest Whitaker will also return as director and McMillan will write the screenplay. No word on a release date for the film yet. Here is Mary J Blige "Not Gon' Cry" from the original movie's soundtrack.



Tyler Perry: For Better or Worse (TV SERIES)

Tyler Perry has signed on for a third TBS series called "For Better or Worse," which is based on his "Why Did I Get Married" films. TBS network has ordered 10 episodes of  "For Better or Worse" which follows the ups-and-downs of married life for Marcus and Angela. Micheal Jai White and Tasha Smith are set to reprise their roles as Marcus and Angela.

Madea's Big Happy Family Movie Review

 

Last night I went to see MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY and I really got more laughs than I expected. I was still laughing even after I left the theatre. I was so into the movie I didn't want to get up to go to the restroom after drinking this huge cup of Sprite. The movie was very similar to the play but it had a few changes but nothing drastic. Madea and Mr. Brown were their usual crazy and funny selves. Aunt Bam (Cassi Davis) was hilarious in this movie. Bow Wow, Teyana Taylor, and Lauren London were great. Natalie Desselle (BAPS) also made me giggle a few times. Shannon Kane did really well in playing the sort of villain of the movie. I just absolutely love Loretta Devine in any movie. The movie also had some very touching moments that almost made me cry but it's very hard to make me cry especially over a movie. It had a lot of very important messages in the film as well. Overall I got some great big laughs that were totally unexpected. I will definately be adding this to my Tyler Perry Collection. I SOLVED THE RUBIKS CUBE!

I finally did it!! I solved the Rubik's Cube!! I'm so proud of myself. It took me forever to figure it out but I did it. This just goes to show if you work hard and never give up you will eventually succeed.
