New Episodes of the hit sitcom Are We There Yet? will air January 5. I cannot wait to see what happens next with the Kingston-Persons family. The show stars Terry Crews, Essence Atkins, Teala Dunn, and Coy Stewart and is executive produced by Ice Cube.

I just love this family. The Obama family including Grandma Marion Robinson were on hand to light the 2010 National Christmas Tree at President’s Park on December 9, 2010 in Washington, DC.

Clean House: Farewell Niecy, Hello Tempestt

Clean House says Arrivederci to Niecy Nash and Hello to it's new host Tempestt Bledsoe aka Vanessa Huxtable. I loved Niecy Nash on Clean House and DWTS. She seems like such an easy person to get along with and just laid back and down to earth. Likewise, Tempestt Bledsoe was one of my favorite Cosby kids. This is her first big gig in years.

It's That Time of Year Again...

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTmas!! I love the holiday season. It's the most wonderful time of the year. The first lady and her daughters welcomed the White House CHRISTmas tree which was delivered by a horse driven carriage on November 26, 2010.

Halle Berry stars in the movie Frankie and Alice which is about  a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality. I recieved my December issue of Essence Magazine today and I must say that is one gorgeous cover. It features the women of For Colored Girls. I also found this other cover with the men of For Colored Girls and I must say they are all looking quite handsome.

New Movie: "Jumping the Broom"

The new movie called "Jumping the Broom" starring Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, Tasha Smith, Loretta Devine, Romeo Miller, Mike Epps, and Meagan Good comes to theatres May 2011. I must go see this when it comes out. Just watch the preview and see for yourself that this is a must see movie.

Serena, Jaden, and Willow "BUY LIFE"

Serena Williams, Jaden Smith, and Willow Smith recently joined Alicia Key's "BUY LIFE" campaign.

The Buy Life campaign is centered around raising money for children living with HIV/AIDS and provides basic necessities and education for children worldwide.

Monica Turns 30!!

Happy Birthday to Monica Arnold who turned 30 years old today (October 24). Monica is such a strong woman and individual. She certainly knows how to hold her own not to mention she can really sing. She is also a great mom to her two boys Lil Rocko and Romelo. So again a big  HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Monica.

Fantasia: "I'm Doin' Me" Music Video

Several pictures from the shooting location of Fantasia Barrino's "I'm Doin' Me" have been offered as a teaser. The official images mostly preview a scene where she makes her way down the street and sings to the camera. The clip will be premiered next month on November 1.

According to Usmagazine, singer Beyonce Knowles is Pregnant:
The 29-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports. Despite the happy news, no one was more surprised than the singer herself.“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.” Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.” DO YOU BELIEVE BEYONCE IS REALLY PREGNANT?

Willow Smith is set to premiere her new music video for her hit single Whip My Hair on October 18th. According to People.com, “the video, which debuts on BET on Monday, the pint-sized singer – who is signed to Jay-Z’s record label – gets playful with her wardrobe and some paint. I absoultely fell in love with this song the minute I heard it. I was like woah this is pretty hot, especially for a nine year old. I have been whipping my hair back and forth ever since. What are your thoughts?

Tyler Perry's New Productions

Dwayne “The Rock" Johnson is teaming up again with Perry to star in his next comedy film, “Take My Wife.”According to BV’s Wilson Morales, Perry will play a recently divorced man who realizes the only way to get out of paying alimony to his ex is to find her a new husband. He sets about transforming a rough-around-the-edges guy (played by Johnson) into her ideal mate. But after the new guy makes a love connection with the ex, the divorced guy falls back in love with his wife and has to compete for her affections.While no dates have been set for the film to begin production, Perry’s next film “For Colored Girls” opens in theatres Nov. 5.
