Tamera Mowry Is Engaged Again!!

Congratulations to Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley on their recent engagement. They have been dating on and off for 6 years. The couple got engaged a year ago but broke up and later reunited. Adam is a Fox News Channel correspondent. He proposed to Tamera in Venice, Italy, with a limited vintage design engagement ring by Viraggio. Although, according to sources,  her family is not crazy about Adam and him and Tia don't always see eye to eye. Tamera has said her sister will help her plan the wedding. The two are planning to wed later this year at Adam's family's vineyard in Napa.

Happy 11th Birthday to Kimora Lee Simmons-Hounsou oldest daughter Ming Lee Simmons who was born January 21, 2000. Her father is Russell Simmons and she is the step-daughter of Djimon Hounsou.

Happy Birthday to Michelle Obama (January 17) and Martin Luther King Jr (January 15). Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was a great leader in the African American Civil Rights Movement and recieved a Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation. Michelle Obama is the first African American First Lady of the USA. What great history these two have made for African Americans everywhere. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr day which marks birthday of  Dr. King is celebrated on the third monday of January.

New Celebrity Apprentice Cast Revealed

The new Celebrity Apprentice cast was revealed today:  NeNe Leakes, Lil Jon, Latoya Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Star Jones, Richard Hatch, David Cassidy, Gary Busey, John Rich, Mark McGrath, Marlee Matlin, Niki Taylor,  Hope Dworaczyk, Jose Canseco and, Lisa Rinna.  The premiere will be March 6. This should be a very interesting season. Will you be watching?



Christina Milian Proves Love Is Blind

Okay so I was thumbing through the February 2011 issue of LATINA magazine which features Christina Milian on the cover.  In the issue Christina talks about her relationship with "the dream", motherhood, and life. She talks about how she tryed to be the perfect wife, mother, and homemaker and yet her marriage still fell apart. She goes on to say that this has taught her so much about herself and life. She says you can try to do everything the right way but if it's not meant to be it won't. She also talks about how she and "the dream" had intimate dinners with the woman who he was allegedy cheating with and that at the time she had no idea of their relationship. I guess it's true what they say LOVE IS BLIND.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict Is Expecting!!

I'm sure most have heard Tia Mowry-Hardrict and husband Cory Hardrict are expecting their first child together in July. Their pregnancy journey will be documented by the Style Network and will air later in the year. They're such a lovely couple and I wish them the best with their soon to be new addition.

Regina King and Malcom Jamal Warner ENGAGED?!?!

Regina King (227-Brenda) and Malcom Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show-Theo) recently started dating and are reportedly living together with Regina's 13 year old son Ian Jr in Los Angeles, CA. There is also talk of an engagement and possibly marriage. What are your thoughts on this union? Is it made in heaven?

I have totally fell in love with Katy Perry's song called "FIREWORK". I have been singing it all day today. I just love the message it sends. 

For Colored Girls Comes to DVD & Blu-Ray

Tyler Perry For Colored Girls comes to DVD and Blu-Ray on February 8, 2011. Don't forget to pre-order your copy of this awesome movie featuring an incredible cast. Who knows when we will ever see such an amazing cast again. This was a great movie and I will be preordering my copy soon. Although, I may not watch this one as often as Mr. Perry's other movies because it is very heart-wrenching to watch. I just love supporting my people as much as I can. Also, Volume 6 of Tyler Perry's House of Payne will come to DVD the same day (February 8) and I will be purchasing that as well. BTW I have all things Tyler Perry: 10 plays, 9 movies, and 5 volumes of House of Payne and I can't wait to add these two to my collection.
